Substantial Replacement Double-Glazed Conservatory for a Property in Ireland
Case Study #19Generously proportioned orangery features an intriguing combination of solid lead roof and a glazed lantern
Our Client's Brief
The requirement was simple - to replace an existing single-glazed, leaking structure with a new conservatory.
The design needed to reflect the style and period of the client's property by incorporating certain architectural features from the house into the new glazed addition. Scale and proportion were important to maintain continuity with the ground floor windows.

Colour : Cement Grey (Exterior), Cement Grey (Interior)
The orangery features unique and intricate leadwork to all clerestory panels which replicated those found throughout the house on both internal and external windows and doors.

Most of our clients prefer a fully glazed structure. However, for some, the balance of a solid insulated roof and glazed sides will better meet their requirements.
Here, our design has incorporated both a lead roof and a glazed lantern which brings just the right amount of light into the room for our client.
